Quentin Tarantino! wow! as all his movies have been in the past, this is one deserves no less... The story, the music, the cinematography and the use of anime and black and white was outstanding very well thought-out by Tarantino. The music was classic 80's style and the movie had that "trademark" Tarantino appeal to it.
Highly recommended to those that love the unique and diverse approach to movie making that he brings...but if your squeamish....you might want to consider a different movie due to the extremely gory effects.

Just saw the movie last night. Give it a really high . The character design was really amazing. Quentin Tarantino really did a good job with this one.

i think the only movie that made me cringe more from the effects is "saving private ryan". i know the effects in this movie was not "realistic", but psychologically, every "slice" from the samuri swords made me tighten up. i guess that's one thing that makes a movie good, is when the director finds a way to affect you psychologically and/or emotionally.

anyway, i was kinda disappointed with the scene where uma thurman fights lucy lui. i was anticipating a big showdown, but it ended up being a letdown...

uma thurman rocks in this movie!!
