I saw it last night at 9:15 Pm. I personaly think the movie is not up to my standard.

1. Makeup
2. Story
3. Bloody Senes
4. That jap chick RULES!
5. Lucy Liu got her skull chop off!
Thumbs down:
1. bad acting.
2. Actress/Actor have no Martial Art backgroup. Their action could not meet my expectation.
I gave this movie a 3.5 Stars out of 5.

evo, a radio station interviewed Q.T. and he said that most ppl don't react to the black color of blood that Black & White film makes, as mush as ppl would to the color red. Which is true in my case.

very "Quentin Tarantino"!!!
Overall, a very sensory heavy movie, incredibly bloody, and very unrealistic, very very unrealistic!
Can't wait till second one comes out... If you guys saw the earliest trailers, they feature scenes that aren't in the first "volume" cuz Quentin said he didn't plan on 2 volumes, that he just didn't want to cut anything out.
Can't wait to see how caradine gets it in the end!

wow i thought it SUCKED but thats just me to each his own
Only thing i liked was the blood showers coming out of the peeps. japan anime style loved that. nothing else, musik sucked big time, funky shit.

i wished they made more anime like that.
again, i'd have to give this another thumbs up. one of the most entertaining films i've seen this year. i love the non-linear cinematography.

I thought it was good...but nowhere near as good as RD or Pullp.
I wish there was more "Tarentino" exchanges...he has some of the best dialague around. How genius was it to have Sonny Chiba in there!
