I am a fan of this new series, it is unique except for the fact that it is a direct rip off the british series of the same name. This one is well written as well and well cast. It has Harvey Kitel and one of the sopranos and it accurately depicts life as we rememeber it back in 1973....i love it. the main character is well acted by this guy i have not seen before, he just pulls it off. anyone else seen it? ABC on thurs nights around 10PM on the west coast.

ok, i see few have responded, i just love this show...so i will add some info.....

so the plot is easy to follow, a guy in 2008, who is a cop, gets hit by a car and wakes up....in 1973....in reality he is really in a hospital bed in 2008 and his mind has created a world he cannot leave with a set of things he needs to do....he has also created characters that represent different aspects of his mind...this is just great stuff...

i was around in 1973 and the series has an authentic look and feel and sound (yes there is appropriate music)...and the central character is well written and acted.

this is a direct american copy of a british TV show of the same name that is also excellent and worth watching if you can find it.

this is not a flashback story, rather it is a guy who revisits his past in real time, only he knows not all that is about to happen, again well written with fleshed out characters and a story line that is full of activity. there is even humor.
