Max Payne
the 1st is one of my all time favorites on the PC and it broke alot of barriers of what a story could be like in a video game...not the story itself, but just the way it presented the story.
if they can bring that same level of uniqueness to the movie it will be great....this may actually be turn out to be an occassion where the level of story telling in a video game is better than a movie.

I disagree. I think Mark Wahlberg has com a loooong way. Anyone see the Departed? The man is an actor. He's supposed to make us believe that he can pretend to be people we don't think he should be. I watch a lot of movies and generally, comic book/video game movies are terrible. But they are getting better. I'm looking forward to Max Payne. Could someone answer me this? Why are there winged demons in it? Were they in the game? Reminds me of Constantine...
im a fan of Mark Walberg , but i say it time and time again , hes got no range , hes "virtually" the same character in every movie .
watch planet of the apes , the big hit , 3 kings the happenning and tell me if you can pick the difference in the roles hes playing .
IMO - Michael Marsden should be Max Pain

Ouch. This guy at AICN has nothing nice to say. Looks like there will still be 0 good video game movies. Too bad. Lots of the games these days have good plots to work with.
