Default New Jersey Drive

I saw this again last night, I had originally seen it after it first came out in I believe the early 90's. While it is getting to be old school it is still a good portrayal of urban youth growing up in Newark and stealing cars. It is a Spike Lee film and is portrayed realistically.

I liked the movie too. When it first came out and even after 5+ years later. It's still a pretty good movie. That and Belly.

It was okay, a little too cliche, I didn't really think it separated itself from the rest of the pack when dealing when young black males in urban society.. I think Boyz in the Hood was the best depiction of that life... but this movie was decent as well..

i didn't know that the hood was universal. boyz in the hood was south central, new jersey drive was new jersey, two totally different environments.

i'm still a big fan of the movie.

Doesn't matter where they were situated, I thought Boyz in The Hood was a better depiction and a better movie.. New Jersey Drive was alright too...
