Has a decent plot. The fight sequences are pretty intense and stylized (kind of like 300). Probably my only knock on this film is the CGI blood. But there's plenty of it.

 

I loved this movie. The fight (massacre) scenes were brutal, it reminded me of playing Ninja Gaiden & just butchering hordes of enemies like its going out of style.

I was disappointed. And Ninjas are usually a little tidier than that!

 

Yah, my dad and I both really enjoyed it too. I didn't mind the cgi blood, but some of the severed body parts animations seemed kind of corny, but that's probably my only gripe. Interesting storyline which actually intrigued me, and the fight scenes were pretty well done in my opinion. Great action flick overall, and I would recommend it to people.

oh i might have to see this now. as long as the action is good, it can make up for other areas. i was reading reviews online and there was nothing good to be said about it, so i didn't go.

 

I totally agree! Ninja Assassin movie really reminded me of the game Ninja Gaiden! I love that game also. But overall the movie was pretty badass.... love all the fighting scenes!
