The Pacific Rim trailer is here! looks really cool. An homage to Japanese monster movies and old Mechs. Evangelion/Robotech meets Godzilla. With Guillermo Del Toro directing!

i have high hopes for Pacific Rim--comparing it with Battleship should be a sin! lol

heh, the only thing i liked about Battleship was how the alien missiles looked like the pegs from the game.

Thought Battleship was a good movie, good entertainment.

This looks promising. I'm not usually a fan of monster movies, but from the trailer it seems like it could be pretty badass.
