it wasnt bad. bout the same as the other ones except requim which i didnt like that much. its worth watching but with todays high theater prices id wait to rent it

 

just saw this last night..liked this one alot.. almost on par with the original..i like the diversity of characters

 

Saw it on DVD AND LOVED IT!!!

A VERY worthy successor to Predator and P2.
Ignore the AVP crap -- this does.

Took MANY of the lines and music from P1 and P2 and (for fans) it was everything you could ask for.

15 minutes of boring dialogue in the middle...but at least they clumped it all together and then got back tot he action.

GREAT FUN!

I did not like the Uber-Predator aspect of the film....regular "run of the mill" predators are badass enough...they did not have to produce some roided-out version to give us a disgruntled Predator to empathize with the humans....LOL

Brody was great but we need more validating dialouge...who was he really?

Fishburn and Danny Trejo were both in and out too quickly...
Yakuza guy doing the same thing billy did in the first film was cheez.

The chain gun coming back was cool but they did not get a chance to use it effectively.

If these predators have been cycling through prey and learning from their mistakes they would have been waaaaaaay more effective hunters and killers by then....

Open up a few dark horse comics and develop a REALLY good script/story before attempting a new film.

A genesis story line of the corporation (Aliens) using the "Royal Jelly" storyline as an excuse to create super soldiers, could open up the door to go to other worlds and see the predators home planet.....maybe?




The franchise can continue but the rest have to be on par with this film's caliber to warrant future installments...

it allows you to run amuck with spoilers and not piss off the mamby-pansies that have not seen the film yet.... since they have to actively do something to see it.

 

So this has been out almost all year, so if you are seeking no spoiler you will be gutted by a predator....

more of the same we know and like about the franchise...loved the casting and the action...not a good story, not well written...almost like they took the best elements of the original and wrote them down and put them in a hat so they could pick them at random and piece together a story....a film that asks more questions about the story line that it reveals sucks.

would have appreciated more action with the chaingun..and Brody's shotgun...(see Expendables for that), but no...we don't see that. the predators costume and automatic gun action is not enough to make a beleiveable action adventure scifi extravaganza.

2 outta 10 cause the original was sooo good that it spauned several sequels like this one, and the next one....just north of not worth the bother....
