Great trailer, director hits most of the time and is talented, intersting topic that can go anyplace, nice existing character references, prequil status. Bags of promise as a good time film. Hopefully it will be more than a promise and a great trailer.
I am in.

Just watched "the making of" Blade Runner. Ridley Scott seems to be a micro-managing type of director with a certain "stubbornness" that every artistic person has to certain degree. I'd probably hate to work for him but I'm pretty excited to see what his next piece will be now that I know more about this guy .

Just saw it. No spoilers intended. It is dark and haunting as it spins it's complex story. There are cues to the first film and questions asked and perhaps answered . Superbly cast, well done special effects, great direction, an ok script at times...perhaps I need to see it again to fully value what is being said...Dr. Shaw is the new Ripley. There are many elements of the first film in terms of plot devices, and it all works.
8 outta 10. Go see it!

Saw it last night as well -- I liked it, didnt love it. It was more of a sci-fi discovery, why are are we here kind of movie rather than a space horror flick. Overall, a solid movie, not disappointed I saw it at all, though Ill admit I was more excited before the movie than after the movie. Would recommend to anyone who likes this kind of stuff.
