I thought it was a good followup to the 1st. I've seen all 3 Japanese films but It's been a while so there were still surprises. The story seemed to be more divergent from its' Japanese counterpart compared to the 1st movie. But I do remember the part about climbing out of the well. If I wasn't so damn tired, I probably would have had trouble sleeping!

Get it! And make sure you have a good surround sound system for watching this film!

 

i thought it was ok but not as scary as the first.

 

i felt like it was a sequel just to have a sequel... the story was kinda cheesy. i think they said after the first that they didn't wanna base the sequel on the original as much... so i guess if there's a third, hollywood is gonna come up with its own story... it'll prolly involve an epic battle in space or aliens of some kind haha.

 

Well the 3rd Ringu film is really a prequel so they can still follow that. Ringu 0 was about the origin of Sadako.
