This movie is currently in limited release but also available on most pay per view outlets. I see it on my DishNetwork menu, but I watched it on a PS4.

Was not expecting much from this but I REALLY liked it. It is based on a graphic novel and has a ridiculous premise but it is still quite a show. Very dark, copious violence but an original story that was well acted, shot, edited and directed.

It is hard to describe exactly what is so different about it without giving too much away but it was a fun ride.

There is a speech at the end which is supposed to unveil some character motivation that was a bit over the top, and the ending was not perfect. I would give the last 15 minutes of the movie a 7/10 but the rest is a 9/10 and very much worth the $7 rental fee.

The trailer does not do the movie justice. Trust me on this one, fun movie. Currently 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.

I downloaded this a while back, surprisingly good. Chris Evans being the main character and a few somewhat known actors play smaller roles. Would recommend as well for something different.

It was definitely an entertaining take on your typical post apocalyptic world movie. Well worth watching - and really, being entertained and worth your time are the only things that matter with mental fluff.

Just caught this on netflix....

the film has good production values, is well cast and well written, although Iam not sure what the point of the story is. I found it imaginative and telling a good story but I don't quite get the message or the theme....sure it a graphic violent social commentary with scifi elements, and I don't quite get why all the characters save a couple have to...well no spoilers.

So 6 outta 10 for captian america doing a fine job without his shield.

Agreed, the premise was ridiculous (and the ending completely predictable), but both I and GFTrunkie were absolutely entranced by it. It was violent as all get out, but holy toot, visually riveting.

Have to agree - saw this about two weeks ago on Netflix and thoroughly enjoyed all but the last 10-15 minutes of it.
