Has anyone seen The Spirit yet?

It's been getting mixed reviews, so I'm trying to decide whether or not to go see it...

im sure its going to constantly get mixed reviews. im already iffy on it as i did not like sin city, and this movie seems to be filmed in the same style. Not to meantion the fact that i highly doubt it actually follows the classic comic book series.

I liked Sin City. I liked 300. The Spirit might not have been the worst movie I've ever seen, but there's a good chance it was. I can't think of a movie I disliked more, and I'm one of those people that goes into movies expecting very little, so then when it's only marginal I'm satisfied at the end. My expectations could NOT have been lower. Seriously, I wanted to walk out 10 minutes in, and it didn't get any better.

I thought the Spirit was worse than the Mist. I actually fell asleep for a part of it. This has never happened to me before.

It sucked. The whole filming everything in green screen and playing with red and black colors and the overall attitude of these movies got old real quick. Not to mention the terrible acting. Worth it only to watch Eva Mendes.

My girlfriend and I actually left cuz we were both falling asleep within 15 minutes of the movie and went right into the showing of Benjamin Button.

it was okay. silly like sin city and 300, yet even more cheesy in parts. but it didn't take itself as seriously as sin city and 300, which did give it some credit. but it wasnt a good movie, no.
