I do believe that Vader knew of Leia well before Episode VI. I remember he uses her name in order to lure out Luke in the final duel. "Or maybe your sister..." as he said. I read this information long time ago, and I don't even know if it was valid. There are several Star Wars books written by various authors. However, there are books which are approved by George Lucas.

I disagree - in a friendly manner of course.

Didn't Vader find out about Leia during the final battle? Something along the lines of "ahhh, there's a sister - your thoughts have betrayed you Luke - If I can't turn you over (to the dark side) then maybe she will"

Something was said prior to this by Vader that made LUke think of Leia - and Vader picked up on it, therefore discovering her existance.

"misinterpreted it could have been"

You may be probably right about Vader's knowledge of his children. I do wonder if Leia wasn't resurrected, then who was she mentioning as "her mother always being sad". Could it have been the adopted mother? I too have many questions.

I think you meant Padme.........

I haven't seen the older films lately, but doesn't Leia say that she has memories of her mother who died when she was very young?

Perhaps her memories are "force" generated and are of Padme - who was quite sad during the last moments of her life.

Yes I did mean Padme. Well, who knows? Maybe we should get George Lucas in here.

8/10

Saw the movie Saturday night, loved it. The acting was decent, better than Attack of the Clones.

This one was a vast improvement over Ep I and II, but could have been better. Acting was mediocre, but also better than I and II. Here's my biggest complaint: LAY OFF THE FRICKIN' CGI!

By all means, use computer graphics to fill in the background, or have little details improved, etc. But there's no frickin' reason to be so lazy as to animate all of the frickin' storm troopers. Make some suits of armor, and hire a few actual people to be in them. It worked in the first three movies, why switch? Honestly, the number of things that were animated for no reason really irritated me. The storm troopers looked horrible, and the wookiees were worse. Hell, Chewbacca looked great in Ep's IV-VI, so why the hell couldn't they find a few more tall dudes to stick in some frickin' wookiee outfits? Even the spaceship fights were overly animated. The space fights in ROTJ were vastly superior, and those were done with models.

Overall, I still liked it, but it could have been so much better.

Are you kidding? The CGI displayed in ROTS is the best among the six movies. The first 10 minutes of the movie was jaw dropping.

I think the storm troopers, at least some of them, were real people and not CGI. Same with Chewbacca and friends.

The acting was better than I and II, especially on Hayden Christianson's part. But I don't really blame the acting, but more the bad dialogue.
