I disagree....the movie was awesome and a great plot. Can't wait for a sequel.... Why should everyone follow the same plot of vampire vs. vampire just for kicks? It was original. 
"I was talking about the parts where they killed Vapires buy breaking their neck or almost drowning."; P.S. Maybe cause she didn't want to kill them but disable them temporarily or something...I dunno either way it was a cool movie...kept my interest

werd, i liked the movie too.
if you all recall, Blade used silver to kill vampires in the movie. last time i checked silver was for werewolves. people doing research for that movie didn't do their homework.
Underworld was so much better than Blade or Blade 2.

Can't wait for a sequel....
Underworld was so much better than Blade or Blade 2.
Blade II wasn't bad either. But nothing beats the original.

I haven't seen the movie yet but I really want to.
I don't think its stealing from Matrix or Crow. If anything its "borrowing" the idea of a vampire/werewolf war from a comic called Wetworks by Wilce Potracio (?) It even had a leader named Kraven and Deathdealers. From what I can tell, this is a pretty original twist in fantasy/horror genre and look forward to seeing it.
Oh, and while I used to agree that using bullet time was a matrix rippoff, it is now become the industry standard, much lilke ILM and Star Wars sagas.

Yeah, for purists, there will be some "incorrect" scenes. Even I noticed some....Micheal checks Selene's pulse...Selene can see herself in the mirror...Selene should have been "infected" when she bit him. Oh yeah, Interview with the vampire was a pretty kickass movie.
