Default X-MEN 3: The Last Stand

"In X-Men: The Last Stand, the final chapter in the X-Men motion picture trilogy, a "cure" for mutancy threatens to alter the course of history. For the first time, mutants have a choice: retain their uniqueness, though it isolates and alienates them, or give up their powers and become human. The opposing viewpoints of mutant leaders Charles Xavier (Stewart), who preaches tolerance, and Magneto (McKellen), who believes in the survival of the fittest, are put to the ultimate test -- triggering the war to end all wars."

sadly looks like this is the end of the x-men trilogy. there was mention however that although its the end of the trilogy, that does not exclude the fact that other movies with the x men title will be made in the future im also dissapointed that some characters were dropped, like my fav. gambit. regardless, i cant wait to see the movie.

Never been a comic book reader and most of the comic book movies just don't do it for me but I liked the first two. They were well done.

The trailer for this looks really fast paced and interesting. I thought there were alot of Hollyweird rumors that the production was a trainwreck, but hopefully the end result is good.

I too am a big fan of the first two. I, however, did collect and read comics back in the day, although in large, X-men was mostly left on the shelf. I do think that Brian Singer brought a seriousness to the movies that really in essence made them so good. I feel that Brett Ratner, on the other hand, won't follow in the steps of Singer.

I don't go to the theater much (last movie I saw there was Ep. III) because I run a video store, but its one of the movies coming out this year I'd like to see on the big screen. I do think I'll hold out until the second or third week to decide to go depending on what word of mouth is, but for Superman Returns, my ass will be planted on the first day.

Yeah... I also wanted to see Gambit in there. The guy is a crazy a$$. Him and Wolverine would have made a good duo in the humorous department... lol. I'm sure the movie will be awesome.

I just watch the trailer and it looks pretty good. I'm not sure why they would have Kelsy Grammer as beast though?!?

yea. i can see him pulling it off.

another character i failed to mention that i wanted to see but is no longer in the movie is omega red. but i guess its good that they limit the characters so the audience doesnt get too lost as to who's who.

*possible spoiler*

i cant wait to see the danger room fight scene and sentinels!!
