Default Zodiac

Saw the sneek peek tonight. I liked it since I read the book back in 1991 and was aware of these crimes from the early 70's. My wife hated it since she knew nothing about it. It was a packed theater however about 30-45 minutes into the movie, people started walking out. I estimate about 50 people walked out. The movie is long. It is boring from time to time and can be frustrating for some trying to keep up with the movie's time line pushing forward. For those not familiar with the Zodiac, I suggest waiting til the DVD comes out. I am on the fence whether the movie is worth paying to see at the theater but at this point I am leaning towards no.

i am a sf native and was around durring that time. i cannot see any interest in the story other than the director did Seven and that was superbly done. i would not go and see it, but wait for cable and it sounds like it will be on cable next month.

I saw the movie this past weekend not knowing anything about the history of it. Personally I thought the acting was solid but there was not enough suspense to give it a real high rating.

Somehow hollywood should have figured out a clever way to deviate from the story and make it some psychological "Thriller" type storyline. At 2 1/2 hours the movie was a bit too long. I'd say wait until it comes out on DVD. Not bad but nothing special IMO.

I saw it a few days ago in the theater and I liked it. It was not an action thriller, but it was suspenseful and really kept you thinking. I think a lot of people these days have the attention span of a 3 year old; I wasn't bored once during the 2 1/2 hours.
