Was anyone running a Radar Jammer during WTD?

No, but I did have my oscillation overthruster since I was joining up with the Hong Kong Cavaliers afterward to take care of a little Appalachian Unpleasantness. Depending on the congruence of the 8th dimension at the Dragon, that may have been it.

No. You've brought that before...unless this is the latest, "tweaked" version...but I didn't see it on your Twitter updates...so I'm thinking you brought the same version as before.

Radar jammers are bologna. "Passive jammers", though legal, aren't worth the plastic they're built out of. They just don't do anything. If you plan to use one to try to avoid tickets, good luck. They do absolutely NOTHING.
"Active jammers" work like a charm. They have the ability to cover large frequency ranges, like that of K, Ka, and X, but there are two problems with them. One, they are VERY expensive. Most people who use them are electronics geniuses who made them at home. Which brings me to my next point. If you really want one, I hope you have connections on the black market, because they are HIGHLY illegal.
Now lets talk about laser jammers: Laser jammers DO WORK and they ARE LEGAL. If you want protection against LIDAR, buy a laser jammer. They are not illegal because, for whatever reason, laser's are regulated by the FDA, not the FCC like radar. There have not been any laws passed (that I am aware of) that make them illegal. The only issue with laser jammers is that most police don't use them. They are still kind of new, and there are a few issues involved with their operation that makes radar more desirable for everyday use.

Good catch, Airgate. No, I didn't twitter my supercharging of the overthruster because John Bigboote has started following me and you know what a PITA he can be at even a hint of anything Red.
Nice to know you're paying attention.
Oh, and S2krazy2, thanks for the compliment.
Yours in obscure references,

You're thinking of Mr. Wizard.
"You can check your anatomy all you want, and even though there may be normal variation, when it comes right down to it, this far inside the head it all looks the same. No, no, no, don't tug on that. You never know what it might be attached to. "
