I have at least temporarily solved the compartment lid on the camera problem. I use a bungy cord to secure the lid in the opposite direction ( open ), with each end hooked to the frame of the conv. top. I have covered the ends of the cord with duct tape to prevent scratching anything. It works very well.

I've got some pics at home of the camera mount I used at S2K Days; I'll post later on their location. Mine uses the same holes in the "secret compartment" as the aeroscreen. It has a metal brace underneath to prevent the screws from pulling through. Wind noise is a problem for me too, but an external mike easily solves this!

DO NOT ORDER FROM CAMBRIDGE CAMERA!!!

OMG!!!

I ordered the camera mount a few weeks back and STILL nothing! I called them today at 1-800-221-2253 and they gave me another number 212-255-3744 to call.

First off, these folks have no professionalism at all! They could care less about the order and when I told them to just cancel it, they miraculously found the order. . ."sir, it will ship tomorrow." I said, "no, it will not!" I wanted the order cancelled and the man on the other end said "ok, ok, sir. . .I cancel it now." then I said, please do as you already charged my credit card and he replied "I tell you, I cancel. . .ok, sir. . .I cancel for you!"

Anyone else think that it's still going to show up on my doorstep next week?

They will be done the first week of December, we took extra time to ensure that this product is the best made.

I will post as soon as it is ready.
