Only problem is there will be NO trunk, and it will be purpose only. If I go on trips, what would I do? My best guess anyways, is lay something over the area where the top of the trunk is, and use all that space as the trunk.

Of course you have a trunk. The back part of that top comes off in about 20 seconds. Unless you're carrying something truly huge in your trunk already, you have all of that space. You could use the space behind the front part of the roof for extra space if you wanted.
