Sorry for reporting late, guys. My night shifts make it tough to actually get people on the phone during business hours cuz I'm usually sleeping.
edit: I'm asking for 12 King rooms, currently. Do we need more? Different types of rooms?

I am thinking that we find out if we can do the group rate at the Holiday Inn... can you find out about two beds instead of King? Also, can you find out if they can give us a code to use online since some of our guests will be travelling from across the border (long distance), or people like me who don't like talking to people on the phone and prefer booking online

How does 8 King rooms and 4 Queen rooms sound? Reserving 12 rooms isn't too many, right? We've got enough out of towners staying over that night after the Mont'y Inn dinner to caravan with us...?

Are they asking for the exact number of 2xqueen/king rooms? It might be easier to tell them 12 rooms and then we can all book whatever we need

The code is forthcoming—just waiting on final confirmation. It will be available online or via phone, as requested. I asked her not to have us lock down the numbers for each type of room yet.
