Trying to find a specific website, however I came across one that sells different packages. The one I am looking at replaces downpipe, cat, and reflash for $975. They rated that alone between 330 & 340!

I'd rather not mess with the boost if I don't have to!

Just found out the 330hp kit that my friend told me of, for $975 is only 330 crank horsepower. Basically it is about a 20awhp gain in the car, which isn't too bad for the price. But being as it is the beater, I'll finish the S2000 first!

Honestly, you'd be better off not dicking with piecemeal upgrades. Do a single package at one time, get to about 400 crank/320 AWHP and let it be.

IMO of course.

- I just caught that! It is a mitsu though, only a matter of time before the transfer case is broke. It'll be RWD soon enough

I'm sure the neons will find themself turned on from time to time while I'm at the Dragon, just for giggles

Honestly, I don't even suspect to keep the car long enough to get to that number. The Evo is pretty much just a fun car to get around in until the S2000 is back up and running. Once that's finished, I plan to sell the Evo and go back to a more realistic daily beater - more reliable one too!
Had car for 2 months and have already had to replace driverside hub & cv boot. Plus the clutch isn't feeling too good.

If I do mod this thing, I'll probably get a clutch, flywheel, downpipe, test pipe, short shifter, window tint, and minor stereo system. Thats about it...

Ah, gotcha.

The Evo is definitely fun, but certainly not reliable, especially if pushed hard.

Any chance I can get a ride at DBR?

I definitely agree with you on that. The one thing that I do like about the Evo, it takes absolutely no skill to drive this car. You can pretty much go into just about any turn at any speed and whip right through it, unlike the S2000 where you have to have some level of skill to ensure you don't slide out of control. Then again, the downside is the same - it takes no input, the car takes care of everything for you. Every now and again it's fun to get a bit squirley, as long as it's not too out of control!

Launching this car is very addictive though, ever since the first time I did it I've wanted to do it again... over and over! From what I've been told, speaking with other owners the clutch is not too reliable. Mine is already starting to feel a bit mushy - 03' with just under 26k miles, purchased used 2 months ago with 22k miles. I'm planning to take the car to local Mitsu dealer to have the clutch looked at prior to the Dragon, just incase!

But yeah, if you'd like I've got no problem taking you for a ride at DBR. Just make sure to catch me at one of my sober moments, if I can help it - there shouldn't be too many!
