Spring for a hotel room, Sally. Then continue the next day.
That's what we did, but if you've ever driven on I64 through West Virginia you'll realize there aren't a lot of exits with hotels nearby.

Haha - well put!
I would love to build a Superformance Cobra some day. It is the ONLY 'Ford' I would consider owning.

I think I have, actually. I can't remember the exact road, but I did drive through WVa once. I remember, I ended up driving straight through because I couldn't find a hotel either.

Yeah, that's the problem we had .. but in a terrible snow/ice storm.

We were at one point where Dave was in second gear going uphill. If he pushed gas any further the tires were spinning. If he pushed the gas any less, our momentum going forward was gone. We were really at the point where if we didn't make it to the top of that hill, we were sliding back down it.. backwards.

Luckily at the top of that hill was a hotel.

At one point in time we were sitting on 64 completely sideways in the middle of two lanes.
