Haha. I didn't realize your car was a lease. That definitely makes sense as to why you never really broke too deep into the engine on your car.
I don't know though. Though I miss my particular S2000 - I don't think if the time came to renew a lease that I'd keep it.

I'll have had it for 5 years at the end of the lease. The residual is resonable (n fact, for a car with 20,000mi on it, it's a STEAL) so I might, or I could trade it in for something else. The newer S2000's don't interest me much though. 8K, VSA,
Naw.
It might be time for a change.

You don't really drive that car too much, do you?
That was my thing - it was time for a change.

Get another one, you KNOW you want to.

But...
1) 00+ NSX's start around the mid to high 40's. Even with great credit, that's still a $770-800/month payment. Insurance wasn't bad - but that's a lot of cash when I'm trying to buy a house.
2) I refuse to pay the interest rate that lenders charge to buy a car that is over 7 years old. Starting Rates on New Cars - 4.5%. Starting Rates on Used Cars 7 Years or Newer - 5.5%. Starting Rates on Used Car 8 Years or Older - 10.5%.
3) Even if I did have the cash to purchase an older model - maintenance is too expensive. Average price quotes for a Timing Belt Change in an NSX is $2,000.

I drove a couple 07s at DBR... nice, but not nearly as visceral. Mocky's was fun but that was mainly the 4.77 gears talking.

- I just made the mistake of scanning through the Image Gallery on NSXPrime again. Why did I do that?!?
