many years ago, not at a WTD/DBR event
it involved a c5 vette 3/4 in my lane on a blind turn. i'll tell you the story at SatG. i just happened to notice, the pic in my sig is the exact setup of that wreck (shift me to overhanging the right edge of the pavement a bit), though i think it's a different turn in the picture
i still remember the corner & experience every time I go past

not your fault at all

No
He was leading a group of 10-15 c5's. some toward the back stopped to ensure i was ok, and then went on their merry way.
The funny thing is, this was Saturday morning on our first (recon) drive. Not a single picture could be found of any corvettes all weekend on all the photo sites. I think they put together pretty quickly what happened, and decided to leave the area. No way they were only passing through that morning. So, at least I know it ruined their trip, if nothing else.
Dear All-Star Specs Groupies
I 'm going to cave-in from the all the pressure from y'all on this. Going to order a set of 225/255 star specs next week from Tirerack.

Why are you "sticky"???
What have you been doing?
Signed,
Really don't want to know in Cincy!
dug these up just for you...
i was setup to go nose first off the left hander i'm parked in, so i stabbed the brakes and let the ass take the hit instead. i figured there was a better chance of driving away that way (and i was right, taped the bumper on and drove the rest of the weekend). note how the Muz chassis brace protected the oil pan & transmission case when it high sided on the edge of the pavement. i HIGHLY recommend this piece, especially for the spirited drivers among us. this was about $5k damage IIRC. could have been totaled if it took out engine/trans.

welcome to the club. mine were delivered today and are sitting in the garage waiting for their chance at star-dom
