Default DFR 2023 - I'm Ready... Are You?

Ready to go again? I sure am!

Still diagnosing the cylinder 2 misfire at slower than parade lap speed.
(Spark plug /coil pack/fuel filter replaced. Going to swap fuel injectors next week to see if the misfire follows. If that doesn't fix it, my S2000 mechanic will get it, since I will have 4 weeks before the next event (S2KDays Eureka Springs, Arkansas)).

Presuming the car will be back in top shape (I now have a slightly bent front wheel), I will be leading a Friday drive to somewhere...

The Gambler Run is my favorite drive to lead. Very technical, with the danger level a High! I want to see what Aaron has concocted, as he loves NC-215...aka Super Squiggles.

I'm registered for the event. Are you??

Issue was a broken spark plug in the coil pack. Leak down and compression tests being performed. Hope to have car back today.

Here's the thread on the repair work on the Black Widow. I'm picking her up later today.

Hopefully I won’t need to be called Jimmy Two Times…. After a whirlwind of events, I am once again the very proud owner of an S2000!

Two owner 2004 Suzuka blue out of Virginia with just over 29k miles and all ten vins. Yea seriously! She’s got a few engine mods and needs new tires, but is in extremely good condition. Thanks Ken for the inspection!

Drove her 600 miles down the Blue Ridge Parkway to South Carolina absolutely no issues. Wonderful and scenic drive with perfect weather.

Very much hope to see everyone in September! Oh, glad the Black Widow is basically fully operational again Jim!

Very glad to hear this Taylor! Hopefully your insurance took care of you and looking forward to seeing you again at DFR. That Suzuka won’t show dirt like a black S at least

p.s. Jimmy 2 times because of his double post
