That's GREAT, Taylor. You were so bummed the last time we saw you. Now go get yourself some sticky-ass tires.

I'm glad to see you're back in the saddle again Taylor! That's a beautiful looking S. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your new ride next time you can make it!

Drove her 600 miles down the Blue Ridge Parkway to South Carolina absolutely no issues. Wonderful and scenic drive with perfect weather.

Very much hope to see everyone in September! Oh, glad the Black Widow is basically fully operational again Jim!

Would like to ride along with you and see if we can work on some of your driving technics if you don't mind. Always good to help out another S2000 owner. Just let me know Taylor. Congrats and see you soon.

Thanks everyone for the kind words and encouragement! The car is a joy to drive and I very much hope to be at the next event in Fontana. Maybe Staunton or West Virginia hellbender next year. Definitely sticky tires at top of list! I agree with you Bama. A little coaching and help never hurt. Hopefully I can learn quickly and break bad habits at same time.

Car is back and is running well. A P0456 came up this weekend, but is not a critical error. Have a short (cylinder) block from a MY07 S2000, from A Solutions Auto Parts in Chicago ready to be shipped to my mechanic. $1300 next week. It has a bad head gasket and will be off the car later this week or early next.

I'll have it ready to work on, after DFR and Gettysburg, so it will be ready for the Spring 2024 season. Amy and I are ready for DFR 2023!

Is it me or is it quiet in here being two months out from DFR 2023? Will be making my second appearance after my 2019 initiation. Are the gentlemen from Michigan on here? (yellow NSX BOB and black S2000 Tim?) Would like to link up with them see when they are heading down.
Cheers and hope to see everyone in a few short months.

I'm glad to see you registered! yeah, it has been pretty quiet lately. The calm before the storm maybe?

The Fall event tends to be a bit smaller than the Spring event is, so the quiet isn't particularly unusual. Everyone is in the slog of the summer heat and focused on the daily grind. So far, we've got 38 signed up and counting.

I know you can't wait to try those new tires out in the mountains! I, for one, am just as excited for the Fall event as usual. Only two more months!
