Dragon Alignment
Just got UK alignment done at Honda this morning, have to go on a drive to test it out later, but did notice a lot more touchy on the highway, and tested just a little coming home on some curves but like it so far
drives better than it use to as well (my OEM was a little off too, never had it aligned since i've owned it) .... so overall very well worth it! Thanks for all the info guys!

Glad to hear you like it so far. I dropped mine off at the Cadillac dealer this morning (still can't believe of all places it was a Caddy dealer that came so highly recommended by other car-guy friends), so I'll get to test it out this evening. Using Mocky's UK alignment modified for AP2, only change I could see was slightly more rear toe.
I'm just as anxious to know what it was at before. Worked great at the track last year.

Had mine done last year...I am running Khumo's. I was told there would be significant tire wear, but have not noticed that much. I don't track or autocross, either...but I do drive it "Spirited"
OMG.....I have an ammendment to make.....!!! At our meet last Saturday, one of our group mentioned, that my rubber looked a little thin..
Well I sort of took it with a grain of salt, because the tires looked pretty good to me....however, I didn't get down on my hands & knees to look at them...Well....I just got back from the Dealership, having the engine oil & tranny fluid replaced, prepping for the Dragon...
I deceided while it was up on the rack, I thought I would just have them check the brakes too....Well, they pulled the front wheels and said that I only had about 30% wear on the fronts, and he went to the rear...pulled the wheels, and same there with the brakes.....But "Holy-S#*+T".....There was NO tread left on the inside rear tires.....
Just got off the phone with Jim@ Tire Rack..... New ones will be here tomorrow....
Thanks Will..................
"Performance Alignment" was definatly "RIGHT"....when they said there would be sig. wear due to the UK alignment, to keep an eye on the tires......6K miles and the rears are gone...!!
Yup... I like to watch that wear, and then pay my mechanic to 'swap' the left tire for the right tire (to recoup that unworn pattern back to the inside) to extend the overall life of the tires. One can easily be fooled just viewing tire wear from the fender. You *have* to 'git-down-under-thar' to get the entire picture

You are soooo right wingy.....I was in such a hurry to get it out of storage, that I didn't even think to get down on my hands & knees to check the inner wear...Outside looked great...so....!!!! anyway, the new ones are bought, already, and these will make someone, some cheap track tires.....( Local )See you @ the Dragon....!!!!!!!!!!!
I hear you denny, My kumho SPT's did that too, i got a nail in one last fall, and when i went to get it looked at, the inner wall was SHOT... not from the nail but from wear, and that was with factory alignment too, but yeah i didn't know either, thankfully tires i have now don't have 1K miles on them yet
Very good point!!! CHECK YOUR TIRES!

As a follow up, I returned this morning and he redid the entire alignment with me in the car, to the exact numbers I requested. He actually went home and did some internet searching, including S2000 forums, to figure out what I gave him. So, many props to the guy for striving to make things right.
Now, to break in the tires and refamiliarize myself with the car
2 weeks left!!!

Oh yeah, I got the printouts for before and after .... they have the best alignment machnine at Honda in Marysville, Ohio.... and they have ONE guy they let touch the s2000's and best of all, i stood there with him the whole time as he adjusted every setting, and explained what the differences would be
They do A LOT of UK Specs on the s2000 at that dealership!
Glad u got it fixed, yeah i drove mine yesterday, going to drive a little more to get use to it
