Do you have the drive mapping for this? This is the route we took at RtD 2017 and I've been trying to find it again. I remember the gravel switchbacks. Wasn't that part of the Baby Dragon?

This route uses the new foot hills parkway and hits the TN32 we did in 2017. The problem is don't even think about approaching Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge on Saturdays- its absolutely brutal traffic. After this drive, I swore I'd never travel close to G/PF again.

I remember that drive, that's the one on 32 that winds up the mountain then turns to gravel at the top where it meets the Appalachian Trail. That road was awesome but a bit sketchy coming down the other side in the gravel. Is that the one where we had to wait for the guy with the mint CR to come down the gravel part?

Ever thought about leading a drive? Ever wanted to explore more of the area? Take a look at the drives here, think about leading or getting a group together. There are lots of cars, lots of people and lots of great roads to explore. Post if you want to lead a drive and gather some people.

Another epic drive to add to the list - The Gambler

This is only for Seasoned or Experienced drivers. No track cars or newbies.

Starting at Hot Springs, NC, at the Rocky Mountain Diner (great food, excellent service, call ahead for group seating, it's a small joint), take NC 206 to NC 63. You will get lots of challenging roads, that are of Dragon quality, plus looptie-loops, tighter than on 411 in the National Park.

Pick up NC 1394 (a fast run, no signage), for more crazy back county roads.

Then it gets better!

Go down Willow Creek Road. You'll get a couple of straightaways, on the side of a mountain, but don't look down, because you then go up and down the mountain in multiple 1st gear switchbacks, to test your driving abilty!

You eventually end up on Beaverdam Road, to get into Canton, NC for for an Ice Cream break.

After Ice Cream, go crazy on NC 215 with all it's insanity. NC 215 is also part of "Super Squiggles".

Again, Experienced driver's only...no newbies. It's not for the faint of heart.

https://goo.gl/maps/9XnnfjEREsbTf3zi9 is the fastest route to the Diner from Fontana

https://goo.gl/maps/zgB66wh5xagaozgq6 is the Gambler map from the Diner

https://goo.gl/maps/AhcKBjvVCzoYsnFg9 is post Ice Cream, to get back to Fontana
