Newbie question here:

I may be in the Dragon area over the next month or so....visiting a nephew in Sevierville TN. Is the road passable in the TN/ NC winter?

I'm talking more of a scenic than a balls-to-the-wall thrashing

Any help will be appreciated

 

It's spotty. Some sections of the road may be okay, others might have snow on the road. See what the weather is like when you're there and try it out of it is warm.

The Cherohala is definitely out.
