Default Dragon Fall Run 2025

Oh, take me back! We've only been home a week, but that is long enough. I'm ready to get back up there with you wonderful people! Thankfully, the next meet is only three months away!

Book your rooms now if you haven't already because Fontana is nearly full! Be sure to let them know you're there for Dragon Fall Run to get our group discount. Heads up, there may only be cabins left, so you'll be better off if you can group with someone.

As most of you already know, the Fall meet is the same weekend as Classic Hondas at the Dragon. This year, for the 25th anniversary of the S2000, they're wanting a big showing of S2000s to celebrate. Let's not disappoint! The big event for CHD is the car show at the William Blount High School in Maryville on Saturday. I don't see where they have posted their event details yet, but we're tentatively planning to encourage everyone to head over there after our Saturday morning group photo.

This Fall meet is sure to be a busy one with lots of cool Hondas and plenty of excitement around Fontana. Details and signup are to come, but start your preparations now because it will be one you won't want to miss!

Tentatively planning on driving the E36 M3 over Friday or Saturday or both days. Too many German cars lately, I need my JDM fix!

We got an Airbnb, as the cabin rate was too expensive. Fontana is pricing themselves out of the market, for those coming out of the region. We may try to get a room in the Lodge, as soon as the rate is published.

They have all these groups now who are in clubs with $100k+ cars that they now cater to. It's frustrating to pay a lot more for a cabin that hasn't had any updates and falling apart. I hope they eventually start making changes to the cabins to make for a better experience.

I'm staying in Robbinsville, I tried to book Fontana a month ago and all the lodge rooms were already gone.

Yeah, I have an Airbnb in Robbinsville this time. Fontana’s new owners have ruined a good thing . We talked with some folks from another car group at the Shell in May, they are all rooming elsewhere now for their meets in the area, too. I AM looking forward to seeing everyone, though!

I sue do miss seeing all you guys. Since my fall fractured 3 of my vertebra, I have to move with extreme caution. If my back is well, and I'm still breathing, I will be at the Spring event. Have fun(and I know you guys know how) and refrain from trying to move any trees.
