The hardtops can go out of adjustment, mostly based on the amount of times that you remove and reinstall the top , generally speaking.

If it seems lower it has likely slipped down on the side rear brackets, we can re-set the top and torque the bolts in place to spec. and they should hold the height more consistently. The rear side brackets probably were not torqued properly and the plates have shifted. The Mugen bolt holes seem a bit better as they are steel and can hold the top securely.

Might be my issue too.
My top is on and off all the time.
Since I have a CR, I usually take the hardtop when I have autoslalom or track days out of town just in case I hit rain, but as soon as I arrive the top comes off and then goes back on for the trip home.

Friday morning first available....clutch and throttle adjustment along with sound diagnosis (probably the throw out bearing on the clutch). I also bought the modified hardtop front latches from you last year but still get rattling so if you could bring me another set in case mine needs to be swapped out. It's still noisy :-(

Is it the latches that are rattling ?, if so have you tried stuff small bits of soft foam into the rear crevices ? I did that with mine, plus I put in an oversized chunk of foam inside the clamshell to maintain pressure on the rotating half of the latch so it does not bounce up and down (see pic below). I just cut up one of those tire dressing applicator foam pads. It worked like a charm for me, the noise went away instantly.

If it a case of the latches not maintaining tight pressure on the strikers you have to play with the geometery between the latch and the striker by removing spacers and adding washers on the parts.
