We'll be heading to Knoxville from Charlotte, NC for DragonBall 2001 on Friday, 8/21. Anyone want to join the convoy? We have one silver and one red going so far.

We plan to leave 7:00 - 8:00am, and can go either I-85S to I-26 and I-40, or I-77N to I-40. (Of course, we'll check out cool secondary roads as well!). It's about a 4 1/2 hr. drive to Knoxville from Charlotte.

The more stooks running through the big tunnel on I-40, the better! This is going to be great!

We hope you can make it, too! Got 2 emails from an additional 2 that "wannago", but also won't know til closer to the date. Will keep everyone posted about time and departure point, so anyone can join at last minute.

Wanted to revive this thread since we're getting close to DragonBall. Post here if you'd like to caravan to Knoxville on Friday morning, and suggestions/ideas for places to meet. We should leave around 8:00 am, to get to Knoxville noonish.

One idea; there's a Hardee's and a Waffle House on I-85 South, at Billy Graham Parkway exit. We could meet there 7:00 - 7:30 for an early breakfast and take off from there....
