Default Is anyone going S2Kdays...???

Is anyone in Atlanta planning to go cross country? I was thinking about it, but I really don't want to drive 5000 miles. Does anyone know how to go about shiping a car out there?

I thought about going briefly.... I agree, I'm not really up to driving all the way across the country and I also don't want my car up on some truck being dragged all the way either... So I won't be going...

Yeah, it's bit too far! I'm willing to go 700 miles, but 5000 miles???

Lets have our own S2Kdays here on the East cost like the DragonBall Run again or just do it in Asheville again Just for us East side folks.

What do you think? I missed both of those meets earlier this year!

The thought of travelling some of those west coast roads is very appealling, but not at the cost of a 5K mile drive. I think I'll go with the Dragonball Run and stay closer to home.

With airline tickets so cheap, If you knew somebody that was already out there and didn't mind being a passenger, I would think that would be a great way to spend a weekend.

I really like the idea of going out there and 1) driving the coast highway and 2) driving on the track at Thunderhill (I think that's where they are going). Would anyone be interested in doing a group thing and shiping a few cars out there?

Giampiero and I are shipping our cars out there,
he is bringing his Monte Carlo Blue S and my S.

Not sure if we are driving or shipping yet, you guys want to get a convoy and rent a truck for the week?
