The drives of The Reptile Run
Yesterday we explored some new roads off the back of the dragon. County road 80 was a narrow road with some awesome tight climbs and descents. Road had no guardrail. Condition of the road was fair. This winter the state of Virginia had to use small gavel on many of the roads we drove. Today we headed south on SR16 then to US28 west. It was wet with the rain overnight so speed was little slower until Billman took the lead then it he pace increased for some strange reason. This road was much like the dragon with dense fog at the top of the mountain. From there we headed north on US 421 and the snake. By then the roads had started drying out an it was on. Billman was gone in about three turns. This is a road everyone should make an attempt to drive on. All in all we had a great drive experience. Later BD

The drive from Marion to Fontana yesterday was awesome. Parrot, Ricco and myself did The Snake, part of Little Switzerland, Mount Mitchell and Route 80 South to Old Fort before heading to Fontana. Looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow. Be safe and later BD
