Thumbs up Driving the Dragon in the Rain

Of course we all love a nice dry road, traffic free, perfect weather for top down, but does anyone else appreciate a buttoned up, rainy Dragon run?

One of my all time favorite runs was an early morning solo run in the rain - no traffic, not much traction, but it was a great drive - I had the whole road to myself. Anyone else?

I can't really say I've _enjoyed_ the Dragon...wet... But ANY day on the Dragon beats pretty much everything else.

The fear/risk of sliding uncontrollably off the side of the mountain pretty much keeps me from lovin' it.

Raul, Nate and I ran the dragon wet at WTD this year... No, I can't say that I particularly enjoyed it.

It does give you the chance to see how you do in controlling the car tho....

But, I'd much prefer a dry dragon!

I'll keep that sort of practice on the racetrack/autocross course.

Nope, not for me. The pucker factor becomes quite a distraction.
Wet 02's give next to no warning before release and there's no room for recovery on the Dragon. So you go slow, with the top up.
