Folks:

Looks like we are in good hands!

I have contacted the Subway in Robbinsville, NC and spoke with the manager Tim Rogers. He is even willing to do a discount for us!

Here is the plan!

129 Rodney Orr Bypass
Texaco Food Mart
Robbinsville NC 28771
828-479-1530

We can order the sandwiches before 10:30pm on Friday night OR we can order the sandwiches anytime after 10:15am on Saturday!

They are securing the order on "trust!" Can you believe it! It's great to know that there are still people out there that have this!

At any rate. . .this is the PLAN! Once we have made the order for the sandwiches, we can expect to pick them up around 12pm which will be the time we are cruising through Robbinsville! We can stop and pick up the sandwiches and any refreshments then head out to Fontana Dam for the "picnic style" lunch. . .

So, any thoughts on this?

Also the Subway is directly adjacent to that parking lot i mentioned at Ingles Supermarket so we'll have plenty of parking.

Sounds like this is the way to go.

Since I have volunteered mack for everything else, how about we get him to drag along his trailer with all our coolers on it?

Airgate, that's great!!! Now all we need to do is take orders and phone them in Friday night. We need to take a final list of attendees with us so we make sure we leave no one out.

We can put in a Subway order form into a small packet of info so everyone can fill it out and we can phone the entire order in at one time.

This is going to be really good!

PS, Radster is not on the confirmation list, will that make 33 cars?

S2kDude and I spoke on the phone last night and we decided that it would probably be best if we all ordered within a selection of sandwiches. . .something like Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef and then a Veggie. . .

Thoughts. . . ? ? ?

This will make the ordering process much easier. . .
