The majority of the Atlanta group should be getting there around 5PM or 6 PM so they are going to miss the Friday afternoon runs which I think are some of the best of the weekend. I'm torn between driving up with the group and arriving late afternoon or driving up by myself and arriving just after lunch.

In April I did the later and arrived around 1:30 PM and got in some great runs with no traffic but I saw very few S2000's until around 4 PM or so.

Arriving early sure seems like the best way to take advantage of the weekend!

I just hope the remnants of hurricane Frances doesn't cause any problems with the roads.

Anybody want to try to set a time for meeting up and heading out on Friday, or do we want to keep it loose and just bump into each other (figuratively, of course) during the course of the day?

My route up basically follows Frances, so I'll do my best to make sure she keeps moving and gets out of the area in time.

Soon...

The cinti crew will be rolling in after lunch... easiest way is to just go there when you arrive in the area, do some runs, hang out at the overlook or gas station. You won't miss us!

I recall the x0 channels being very full of static last couple times, to the point of not being usable. We'll try 4-0, but plan on switching to, say, 4-4 if it gets bad.
