Update,,,


Just to be sure I wasn't dreaming, I tried it again this morning. No work..........more ^&%*$&%^*&^$%*%...then I manually turned on the back pack. Works fine. I'm ready for a Dragon trip now.

 

Decided to jump on the band wagon. Picked up one at Best Buy this afternoon. Should have the remote up and going before BotD next weekend. Later BD

 

I finally got around to trying to set up the wifi unit with my Apple MacBook Air. After spending several evenings with a Windows machine and only getting pissed off it took about 10 minutes with the Apple! The WiFi unit works great!!!


What took me so long to buy an Apple???

 

 

I have been trying it out for the last two days. Has anyone noticed how fast the remote battery dies? It seems to me that it didn't last very long. More testing to come.

 

Yes the remote battery dies in a bout 1.5 hours fully charged. It must be charged daily. I thought it goes into a sleep mode. I am going to plug it into my aux plug if I am going to use it for a long time.

 

anybody able to view video on their phone yet?

 

The GoPro site mentions this won't be available until the Fall...

 

I initially had issues syncing up the GoPro wifi bacpac to the GoPro camera itself, but after a reboot of the computer plus a format of the SD card everything worked fine
