Just followed the directions and it worked like a charm! Let me know if you get it working on your iPad. I don't see the app available in the app store yet.

There's no app yet but there are instructions to have it connect to your iPad or iPhone via pairing.

GoPro sucks! spent that last 90 minutes trying to do the simple update of the Hero2 camera, keeps saying FAILED check you have a SD card with memory. I have a 32 GB SanDisk card with like 31 GB free. I have three vids on it and took a couple of pics. Also tried a 4 GB SanDisk card with fresh pics on it. Follow sequence exactly for turning on, connecting and updating, also tried every combination I could think of all the same Failed check SD card. Wrote message to GoPRo will get reponse in 1 to 2 days.............

Had the same issue... I reformatted the card (in the camera) and rebooted the laptop. Took a pic or two and reconnected before starting CineForm. Not sure if it was one thing or the other... Or if it was the combo that did it, but it worked after that.

Welcome to the fool's groupe, that purchased this P.O.Crap....before it should have been released. You are not alone, my friend...GoPro released this before it was ready.... Why should anyone take a brand new product out of the box...and have to update the entire system, only to have it fail....( Epic-Fail )over & over again, and again....Another hundred bucks wasted

Well I got a phone number and called them up, got a sweet little on the phone and she took care of all the issues. She sent a file to my email which I transferred to my Hero2 and did a manual update. Then we did the Wi-Fi BakPac and had to change computer setting, reboot, and update, then updated the remote. So I wish I had called early. She was very nice and knew her Sh!t. So it ended up okay but I spent three hours where I could have been checking out the Hotties forum!

Glad you got it working.
I called Gopro but was unable to get mine working.
Please share with us the number you called to get this resolved.

I am not going to touch this update until I get my MacAir. And until I get my radar detector problems solved AGAIN!

YEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Without going to the number above, I thought I would try just one more time to prove to myself that I can do it.

I did it.

In order to accomplish this feat, you have to repeat the following phrase 14 times.

"^##@%&&(()&&^%$$%)()*(*&^&%%$@!@#@$%" There, I feel much better now.
