We arrived back in Cincinnati about 5:30 - uneventful trip! 20 degrees warmer here than when we left Deal's Gap this morning!

Music City crew is back and safe. We drove through some wet snow and ice for about an hour or so west of Knoxville.

Left Fontana at 8:00, home at 11:30. Had a great drive back to SC by the backroads -- an awesome run down NC29 to Franklin, NC -- not a single other car! Then US64 past Bridal Veil Falls, etc. etc. The sun came out in Cashiers, NC so the rest of the drive was top down.

It was great to meet all of you.

PS: Although the weather wasn't perfect this weekend, it could have been much worse. JFK airport reports over 6" of rain since 6 AM today!

Made it!

Left the Dragon behind at 9 ( ) and just got home about half an hour ago.

Sadly, not all of the Mid-A crew was so lucky... I did not see it, but apparently there was an issue with a semi and the second half of my crew as they left around 10:30.

All are well, though, and there was no major damage to the car was reported.

I'll let them post the rest of the details.

Parkerdt- I didnt get to meet you this weekend. I saw you drive by with a few other LBP owners from Ohio, but I didnt see you after that. I was sitting in the inside of one of the turns with my black civic. :-) Anyways, my long drive back to *gasp* knoxville was safe and rainy.

Returned to Clemson around 3:00PM. I feel like very refreshed; just in time for finals!

I'll try to drive with the South Carolina crew next time.

Matt,

Darn it - I could have *sworn* I was looking for a WHITE Civic. Old age - sheesh.
Next time, come on up 28 to Fontana. A bunch of us (myself included) could have used your skills! Anyway (and you can ask my wife and kids) everyone was instructed to ask any white Civic they saw if their screen name was mattfeet.

You probably caught me on my last run - after that I got to run my wife's Black Cherry Miata through the Dragon a few times before the rain arrived...

Sorry it didn't happen buddy - maybe in the Fall at DBR!
