Home at noon today in Phoenix - total mileage for the trip 4890.

Trip home was 2154 miles at 27 hours of travel time. Day one with the NOLA group to Jackson, MS. Day 2 to Las Cruces, NM, and a short 380 miles this morning. Got a written warning in Texas for speed, as the trooper could not get his gun on me before I went over a hill. He guessed 95 - he was almost there.

Still have the same engine managment (idle, stall/bog, etc..) issues that started on the trip out, but the beast got me home. Picking up a used ECU tomorrow to see if that is what the problem really was.

WLaurent,

Was great to meet you and your lovely +1 under the awnings outside the Grill, and discuss your car stuff! Hope you get it all sorted out soon. And you, Sir, have my admiration for "One Helluva Long Drive".

Yep, all safe and sound, although my girls did NOT want to go to school Monday! We'll be there for sure, as long as the Good Lord is willing, and the creek don't rise!

I'm home, and wondering if people have multiple charges still pending from Fontana...

I stayed from Thursday till Sunday...

so they charged me a while back for the Thu. night, then two nights when I checked out, but there is another $215 pending on my credit card..
