Howdy All!

Melissa and I got home safe and sound...rolled into Boston ~3:30am after our non-stop 18 hour trek home. We're off to get numb bum massages now

Great seeing everyone again!

Left @ 7:30 AM...on Sunday morn...Decided to go to Gatlinburg for awhile...Ladies had a little shopping to do.... Had breakfast @ the "Fried Green Tomato" place....Awesome place...Prior to that we took a little detour route, across Abrahm's Branch Rd... Just prior to the Foothills...!!! Another "Adventure" to say the least..We had no idea where we were...( thought I heard banjo music) Finally after Bob pulled out his GPS...we found our way... Ended up back on 321, just outside of Marysville...After breakfast, went to Gatlinburg, via 321, which brings you out in Pigeon Forge... Guess what..??? The biggest car show I ever saw... Traffic was a complete disaster. Bumper to bumper for at least 6 miles.... After shopping in the 90 degree heat for awhile, we thought we better get on the road... No way were we going back thru Pigeon Forge, so we went out of town another way.... We all needed gas...but all the gas stations were out of gas...Finally found a place that had some, NO limit, and filled up. Hit the highway, and all was well till we got to Somerset Ky. Then the rains hit...so hard that you couldn't see to drive...then the winds, to say the least, were blowing...."OMG" were they blowing... Trees were almost bent in half, coming thru Lexington....@ least the rain had stopped. Kept getting calls from our friends at home, telling us to be prepared....All the electric was out, trees were down all over the neighborhood, and we lost half of our shingles on the roof...Branches and shingles filled the whole yard... Electric came back on at 10:30PM... No internet till this afternoon. Spent all day cleaning up the yard...etc. Tomorrow, back to work, to help restore electric service back to more than 500,000 customers..!!!!Guess I won't be back home for a week...or so....

One of the "BEST" Dragon events I ever went to....since the DragonBall, 2003,
( our first ) Thanks to everyone for such a great time...can hardly wait till next year....

Dang Denny..... I didn't see any of that stuff on the way home!

I agree.. that Gatlinburg traffic sucked big time.....

Think I left you guys behind at that last gas stop..... slowed down for a bit and then said... heck with those guys!

We lost just a little siding.... the bushes look shredded..... lots of houses in our area have major roof and siding issues.....

But, made it back safe and sound... thats what counts!

Hiro and Melissa... glad to hear you made it safe!!
