Is the Dragon any better, in terms of police presence, during the work week?

 

I was on it on Thursday during this most recent DBR. There was one sheriff on the Dragon itself, radar was NOT on though. There was a second one just on the other side of Tabcat bridge and I don't think his radar was running either (though I'm sure he would have lit up anybody coming by that looked they were too fast).

 

I was there last week from Sunday night through Thursday morning. I saw one NC officer attending to a bike accident Sunday evening, Monday through Wednesday I didn't see any police on the Dragon. Thrusday morning there were two THP cars parked on the Dragon at two different spots. Niether had radar on.

I've been down there during the week before, and this year it seemed more crowded than before. I assumed people were avoiding the weekends like my group was.

After dark the road was empty as usual.
