i was standing right there with killboy for this one. he actually was sticking through the whole turn until he came right around us and then he broke his rear end loose to do a little slide for the camera and then kept on going. it was actually pretty sweet.

So that's the guy. He has bigger balls than me......or he's probably a good 10 years younger than I am.

That was caused by a truck crossing the double-yellow on Sunday morning, on our way home. I am pretty sure none of us would like to see our S end up in the ditch, so please pay the common courtesy and don't cross the double-yellow ourselves.
did he make it out okay? I know that it sux when that happens. Happenned to me as well, only, it was not as bad and it was my fault. not anyone elses.

Yeah. Car and Driver was okay. From what I understand, he was in good spirtis. Probably scared the sh*t out of him though. There is actually a picture of him next to his car doing the JDM pose.
Oh and to to be honest, there is one picture I found on killboy which I think is me, ON the yellow, but not across it. So I don't claim to be perfect myself.
There is a world of difference between being on the line and being more than half a car across, especially when there are bikes in the other lane!

You mean this?
everyone! That's me.
The car came out just fine with some scratches on the bottom of the left rear bumper. I was pretty darn lucky to not have any rocks on that ditch, just a whole bunch of wet leaves.
I'm absolutely fine also. The car was completely vertical on the driver side when it came to a stop(we pushed it towards the hill so it won't tip-over). It was an interesting feeling climbing out of the passenger side door. It felt like getting out of a submarine!!
In closing, even though everyone in front of me had to do panic stops to avoid running into each other and I had nowhere else to go, this was easily an avoidable incident if I had only given myself some extra room especially on wet roads. I'll hold on to that lesson!!
