Darryl-

Have you ever thought about blowing up some of the extreme lane crossers, and placing those pictures in/around Deals Gap?
Yeah we've kicked around the idea, with other photographers even, of getting a small portable printer and printing out shots of real problematic people...maybe a board down at the store: "Daily Douche Bags" with photos from the last few weeks.

It's not that simple though...just getting a shot printed off from a card with 1000+ photos on it, while still shooting would be near impossible. The cameras do have "Pic Bridge" support, so they might be able to plug in and print directly from camera, but I haven't tried it yet with our little 4x6 printer.

I think offering examples to the different clubs after scheduled meets for rumination would be fairly effective - if they're receptive to the idea (like us).
Having buds rib you about being a tool (with proof for any who want to see) would certainly make me camera shy.
Thanks again for the interest and input Darryl! It really is appreciated.

[QUOTE=killboy,Apr 26 2007, 12:36 PM] Actually somebody took it upon themselves to take down those signs (which they did not put up) a few months ago...probably some local lane crossers who don't agree with that philosophy.

Remind me what the sign says as you leave the overlook, heading back to Deal's Gap -- I thought it said "Lane Crossing Kills." Maybe the effect of any sign just evokes that thought.
There used to be 2 signs at each end...the first said "Lane Crossing Kills" then a second sign a few hundred yards later says "Please Stay In Your Lane". The second sign is a little obscured coming from the Overlook, (needs to be moved) but they are still up at each end. The first signs (LCK) are missing from both ends.

Look If my rants and bitchin scares enough lane crossing idiots into staying in their lane in the fall;it's worth it

If my "threats" as someone has put it; saves one biker's life or someone from totalling someone elses car .

It's worth it

...........that's all I have to say

My first visit to the Dragon, I crossed the line. Not bad, but enough for me to notice. I beat myself up about it!
I did the same. I was just barely over the line but over none the less. I was probability harder on myself for doing it than any of you could be on me (short of Popeye's beat, which I would have deserved if I had endangered someone else). I am sure that I have learned my lesson.
