Nikon 5700 . I'll be selling it for around $450 give or take some when I put it up for sale. It's a 5 mpx camera.. really good.. I just want an SLR so I can stretch my photography legs a lil longer now that I'm selling all my 35mm stuff.

i'd rather have the 4.57 gears since they are stronger and purpose built for the S2k. (4.77 gears are mazda gears)

however, i also noticed there was some question as to the validity of the cryo treatment that was done to those 4.77 gears too.
Stronger according to who? Rick? I haven't seen any stress/load testing comparisons between the two. The 4.77 gears are used in the Mazda, but not made by Mazda. Regarding the cryo treatment, again don't bvelieve eveything you read on the board. I know I haven't had any trouble with them, and I run the hell out of mine. Other than answering a marketing call (for those wanting more balls than the 4.44, but lacking the balls to get the 4.77) Rick had Richmond gears make the 4.57. Other than changing the teeth, there's nothing special about that final drive over the 4.77 or 4.44.
