Default Lodge or Cabin?

For those that have stayed in the main building (lodge) and the cabin (willow), which do you prefer? And why? Bringing my wife for the first time and didnt know which way to go...

cabin lets you cook for yourself and enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a brew after a long day at the wheel.

see you there

I've stayed in the Willows cabins before, as others have said, it's nice to sit out on the porch and just chill. It also feels a bit more like a vacation in a cabin versus a hotel room.

First time lodge.
Last 10 times cabin 2,3, and 4 bedroom cabins available. Split it up and the cost is the same for a lodge room.

I like the lodge better. Closer to the action. The one time I stayed in a cabin I felt very "secluded"

Thanks for the helpful insight! Do the cabins have chairs on the porch to sit on and relax? What about cookware and silverware? Microwave and fridge?
