Guys I don't think the video was intentionally dropped this year, it's just that the organizer taking care of it was too busy with other things this time around. As always, anyone is welcome to volunteer for the position!

I also think it's a great idea to start with footage from the previous event as a baseline. If there is time & material while at the current event to add that in as well, that's just a bonus!

Perhaps an electronic repository, like a dropbox or a gmail address would get better results.

As always, I had a great time at the event and enjoyed meeting everyone I was able to. Thanks again to Ken for organizing!
  • I agree with everyone else, bring back the burgers and hot dogs for the Fri night BBQ.
  • Combine the registration table with the beer swap tables. That way you don't have a whole box of registrations because people didn't see the table.
  • I am glad everyone else enjoyed the pig roast, I know it's hard to please everyone, but I did not like it. So I was stuck with the alternative, chicken. Which was on-par with the Fri night chicken and the years' past chickens... terrible. How about a pasta dish as an alternative to the pig roast (I believe that was also done the other year)?
  • At the banquet, Modifry typically sets up a table, so why not have the other people who brought items to sell setup their goods just to display too, even if they only need a section of a table? (foot vent guy, billman's tct, etc)

I set up a small display for my vent cover, but with no other vendors it was easily overlooked

One more suggestion, and this one is serious. Hold the event AFTER tax day!!

My first year we played this:

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yNVwabR6LKE

For me it was a classic.

As far as video goes, we can have everything except the footage ready before event. Then we can add the photos and video clips in the preset slots. So the format is premade, content is added at end.

Congratulations! You're now the Director of Banquet Presentations. Wear the title well.

In my travels down south I always look forward to good corn bread as we don't get that up here. I was disappointed with the cornbread at the banquet, but the rest of the meal was great

I really enjoyed my 10th event the most. Like everyone said the pig roast was amazing. My biggest complaint was Friday night with the chicken was only mayonnaise. I asked and they had no ketchup or mustard. If thats the worse thing I guess im ok.
