Back to the OP.
AP1's were designed for drivers.
AP2's were designed for their wives. Of coarse they drive different.
Wow, I can't believe that comment didn't start a flury of posts.
I was just sitting back waiting for them myself!

Finally picked it up from the bank.
This car is a little nastier than I realized. I spent about 2 hours just getting the interior cleaned.

Shinitzu on the rubber, leather conditioner on all the interior leather, wiped down the metal, and in general got it to a usable state.
It's way too cold now to do a wash but that is the next item. Then, clay bar, compound, and Zaino.
Next all fluid changes .
Any suggestions on how to get the smoker smell out?

TLC is certainly in order on this one.

Pictures to follow.

+1000 on the ionizer. I had a friend in high school with one. He smoked in his car regularly, and you'd never know it. All he had was a little plug-in ionizer in his cigarette ligher socket, that was energized even when the car was off (they don't draw much power).

It's been a very long time since I've seen it, and I have no idea what brand it was, but this is very similar at least: http://www.amazon.co...e/dp/B0007ZEAAE. I would swear he said his was much more expensive, but then again this was 15 years ago.

Thanks I just used the link to order one.

Great! Let me know how it works out. I've thought about getting one off and on for years.

Keep in mind that the 12v socket isn't energized when the car is off, so it will only help while you're on accessory or on. Or you could add a new socket to the passenger kick panel and wire it for always on, like I have.
