I heard word that the Cinci group seems to attract 'Johnny Law' when they drive. Is this true?
Seriously though, is it true? Not so much for my sake, but if we're going down I75 at 85mph, my wife is going be yelling at me the whole way. (Okay, I guess it is for my sake. )

Plus, I DO think they can pull us all over.

We generally run around 75-80 when we are not in traffic.....

Most of us have FRS radios, so if the people up front see a cop.... the people farther back in line hear about it quickly.

There is one spot just south of Lexington where we normally do exceed 80mph..... its called the gravity well, and has become a tradition for some of us.... just stay at your normal pace, and you will catch up with us.

Our goal is to have a safe and uneventful ride down!

As for attracting law enforcement..... as Denny said, there have been very few tickets to our group over the years.... and the ones gotten.... have been deserved.

Throwing in my $.02...

Definitely no need to keep up and be outside of you or your +1's comfort zone. It's not a cannoball run... Take a pace that you are comfortable with. We will be at the second Berea exit (someone can tell you what that exit # is) and you can meet us there for refuel and lunch.. from there, you can get directions on where we are going or, head straight to Fontana Village.

As far as pulling everyone over... they absolutely can pull multiple cars over and they will if they feel the need.. The caravan has been fortunate in the past to avoid law enforcement but that is not to say that if they believe us all to be speeding, they can (and will), pull us over....

Be safe, think with the right head, and enjoy the ride..

Really! Really!! You had to go there?!?!?!?!

Our trek down isn't that bad. If we are going a little fast you can just fall back. We would lose you and you will catch up. My +1 is too frightened to scream! J/K

I learned very quickly, on my first S2000 group drive (which was a very small group -- Aaron and I going to the Brown County shindig), when Aaron got on the I-74 on-ramp, that I would be flooring it to redline through the first few gears from almost every stop.

So it's all good. But please tell me -- PLEASE -- that the leader of the caravan uses his cruise control, at least for the most part. PLEASE!!!

No, they do not....

Also, one more thing...

STOP WAITING FOR PEOPLE ON THE HIGHWAY ONRAMP.... JUST GO!!!

I've seen too many mishaps because of this... ..just go.. it's a highway, people will catch up or see you at the next stop

It's called an acceleration lane for a good reason. Accelerate, match speeds, merge. Learned that from my father at 16. Good advice 50 years ago, good advice today.
